The Reason to celebrate all Seasons.
I began my quest by searching for Christian items to celebrate my holidays. In the beginning... I ask a question, Why do we celebrate? God answered my question during the Christmas holiday season one year as I decorated my tree out of tradition, with all sorts of ornaments that had no meaning they were just pretty. Oh yes I knew it was Jesus Birthday, and the wise men came where the star was. What I really wanted to know is how my tree with all it's ornaments, lights and decorations told the story of Christ. Looking at my tree it didn't. The next year I began to search for Christian ornaments that would tell stories about the people in the bible, I found a few, the basics, the wise men, the birth, stars etc..but none these ornaments reached out and said to me the lineage of Jesus and all that he has done for us is the reason why we celebrate. So I starting creating my own. Inspired by the written word of God I began celebrating all holiday with Christ in mind. He is the real reason why we celebrate anything at all.

The reason why we should celebrate with Christ in mind.
Proverbs 4:7 (Amplified) says "The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and Godly wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation). Most people do not know why they put up a Christmas tree or hang decorations. They do it out of tradition or because everyone else is doing it. They have no idea of the real meaning of the Christams tree.
The Evergreen (Christmas) tree has three corners, and God is three persons: the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity) but is still one God. Long ago, people used evergreen trees to teach others about God. On December 24th they would decorate the evergreen trees with apples and twists of bread, and tell the story of the tree of life in the Garden of Eden. Also,the priest Martin Luther (16th century) saw a beautiful evergreen with icicles sparkling on it. He decided to cut the tree down and take it home, he lit candles and put the candles on the tree. Then he sat his family down and told the story of Jesus who is the light of the world. This is why we put lights and decorations on a tree, and the star at the top of tree symbolizes the star that the wise men followed to find Jesus laying in a manger in Bethlehem. Christmas is not about presents, reindeer, Santa Clause, or any of the things the world has made it all about. Its about the greatest gift ever given,the birthday of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Easter is not about bunnies or eggs, Thanksgiving is not about a turkey. All holidays celebrate the birth of something. In all your getting, get understanding. See Holiday Histories.
